We are committed to providing you with the best possible treatment. Our patients understand that in order to deliver optimum dentistry, we must maintain our office on sound principles. Therefore, we inform our patients of our financial policies at the very beginning of our relationship to avoid any misunderstandings.

 

Treatment plans are presented to all patients before any work begins. We consult with our patients so that there is full understanding of the procedures before treatment is rendered. The costs and the time required to perform the services is also discussed. If at any time it is necessary to change the treatment plan and additional charges or credits are applicable, this is explained to the patient and agreed to before the services are rendered. Payment for services are due at the time our services are rendered, unless prior arrangements are made.

 

Neither financial arrangements, nor treatment recommendations are made based on insurance reimbursement. Dental insurance typically has limited impact toward coverage of comprehensive care.  Insurance coverage is a pact between the patient and their carrier,  not between the carrier and the dentist.   This practice is happy to provide you with pre-treatment insurance estimate submission, but we do not accept insurance coverage for payment of services provided outside of our contracted insurance providers.

Our Beliefs

1. You should decide the quality of the dental treatment you prefer – not an insurance company.

2. Oral health care and the choice of dental materials used should be determined by you and your dentist rather than a dental insurance carrier.

3. Our fees are the same for all patients. Your dental insurance policy may reimburse you based on their own fee schedule which may or may not coincide with our fees. You should be aware that insurance companies vary greatly in the type of coverage available. Some companies reimburse claims promptly, while others may delay payment for several months.

Payment options

For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment methods that include personal check, cash and MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Full payment is expected at the time your services are performed.

 

Financing

Financial arrangements will be made prior to starting any extensive dental work.  We offer in house financing for smaller treatment plans, as well as financing through The Lending Club for larger plans. With The Lending Club, payments can be arranged on a payment schedule ranging from six to eighty-four months, based on treatment plan size and length of arrangement desired.  Our financing plans are designed to help you finance your health, beauty and wellness expenses by providing a way to pay for the treatments and procedures you want.

 

Insurance

As a courtesy service to our patients with dental insurance, we will submit all necessary paperwork to your carrier. We currently participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the Indemnity Plan, and the Cigna DPPO Discount Plan.  Please keep in mind that our office may be considered an “outside of network” or “non-participating" provider if you are covered by another insurance company. 

 

Your specific dental policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. If you like,  our Office Administrator will gladly verify your benefits.
